Oud Ébène (No.28)は、夜の帳が下りたあとのNO.29 サンタル。同じあたたかな木の香りを、ひときわ深いトーンで。グリーンカルダモンとスモーキーなローズウッドで幕を開け、磨き上げられたウードへ。ウードはクリーミーなサンダルウッドに包まれ、ベチバーがその土台を支えます。やがて香りは、アンバー、トンカ、バニラへと落ち着いていきます。Ébène（黒檀）は香りに含まれる木ではなく、この香りの色合いを表す言葉です。なめらかで、ほの暗く、ゆったりと。
