Solution for No Mist Output - Troubleshooting Guide

If your aroma diffuser is not producing mist after turning it on, don’t worry! We’ve created a simple troubleshooting guide to help you quickly identify the problem and get your device back to normal. Follow the steps below to test and resolve the issue:

Step 1: Turn On the Device and Check for Sound

First, turn on the machine and listen for any sounds. Typically, the diffuser should make a slight operating sound when it’s running, indicating that the machine is functioning correctly.

  • If there is no sound:
    • Battery-Powered Version: Ensure you are using the original charging cable or a USB to Type-C cable. Do not use a Type-C to Type-C charging cable, as it may be incompatible and result in incomplete charging. Once plugged in, the charging light will turn red to indicate charging is in progress; when fully charged, the light will turn green.
    • Non-Battery-Powered Version: Try using a different power source or adapter to ensure the power supply is working properly.

Step 2: Check for Air Pressure

If you hear sound when the machine is on, proceed with the following test:

  • Remove the glass bottle and place your finger over the hole where the glass bottle is inserted.
  • Turn on the machine and check if you can feel slight air pressure. If you feel pressure, the machine is working normally, and the issue is likely with the glass bottle.

Step 3: Test the Glass Bottle

Now, it’s time to test the glass bottle:

  1. Add essential oil to the glass bottle, making sure the liquid level does not exceed the MAX line on the bottle.
  2. Reattach the glass bottle to the machine and turn it on.

If there is no mist:

  • Cover the top of the glass bottle with your hand for a few seconds, then release.
  • Check if mist begins to output. If the mist returns, the issue may be due to a poor seal on the glass bottle, causing air leakage.

If there is still no mist:

  • Clean the glass bottle: Sometimes, essential oils can cause a buildup inside the bottle, especially if the diffuser hasn't been used for a while or if the oil is too thick.

    • How to clean: Empty the bottle completely, then add warm water or alcohol to the bottle. Turn on the diffuser for about one minute to help flush out any residue, then empty the bottle again and wipe it with a soft cloth.
    • Why cleaning is necessary: Cleaning helps remove any oil buildup, dust, or residue that might be blocking the mist output and ensures optimal performance.
  • Check mist output visually: If you still can’t see mist clearly, try using your phone's flashlight. Turn on the flashlight and hold your phone near the opening of the bottle to check for mist. Some oils may not produce a very visible mist, but using the flashlight will help you see if mist is actually being produced.
  • Replace the glass bottle if cleaning doesn’t resolve the issue. Please contact us, and we will arrange for a replacement.

Conclusion

By following these simple troubleshooting steps, you can quickly identify why your aroma diffuser is not producing mist. In most cases, the problem may be due to insufficient battery charge, using an incompatible charging cable, or an issue with the glass bottle seal. If the problem persists after performing these tests, please contact our customer service team, and we will assist you further.

Follow the steps carefully, and enjoy a smooth and pleasant aromatherapy experience!
